Hazaribag, Jan. 11 -- Three convicts who had escaped from the Jai Prakash Narayan Central Jail here on the night of December 31, 2025, were arrested in Solapur, Maharashtra, police said on Sunday.
According to a press release issued by the Hazaribag Superintendent of Police, the prisoners were traced and apprehended from the Karmala Police Station area in Solapur following sustained technical surveillance, intelligence inputs and inter-state coordination. After their arrest, the accused were brought back to Hazaribag on transit remand.
