Dumka, Feb. 2 -- Dumka Police have arrested three accused involved in incidents of cash snatching from pedestrians reported over the past two days in the district. Superintendent of Police Pitambar Singh Khairwar informed mediapersons on Monday that the arrests were made following swift investigation into two separate robbery cases.
According to the SP, on January 29, near Kendpahari under Shikaripara police station limits, three unidentified motorcycle-borne criminals assaulted a pedestrian with a knife, injuring him and snatching Rs 8,000. In another incident on January 30 near Sidpahari under Masaliya police station limits, a pedestrian was robbed of around Rs 7,000 by three motorcycle-borne assailants.
