Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- While Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was a tragic loss in the fateful plane crash at Baramati in Pune district on Wednesday, the country also lost other valuable assets.

Among them were Capt.Sumit Kapoor, Pilot-in-Command, with over 16,000 hours of flying experience, and Capt.Shambhavi Pathak, First Officer, assisting in aircraft handling, navigation, and communication, official sources said.

Capt. Shambhavi Pathak was a skilled pilot with international training, having earned her Commercial Pilot License from New Zealand and holding a Flight Instructor Rating (A).
