Patna, Jan. 28 -- Threats were received to blow up Samastipur and Bhagalpur civil courts while a man trying to enter Patna civil court premises with pistol was arrested on Wednesday.
Sources said an email was received in administrative department of Bhagalpur civil court, threatening to blow up the court premises. The court administration informed the police following which additional policemen were deployed to strengthen security.
Senior Superintendent of Police of Bhagalpur Pramod Kumar Yadav said the civil court would remain under enhanced security cover in view of the threat. Metal detectors have also been installed at all entrances of civil court to thwart any attempt to create disturbance or cause any damage to the court property.
