Those who tried to snatch 'Sindoor' of sisters have lost their families: Yogi

Lucknow, May 7 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that 'Operation Sindoor' is a befitting reply to terrorists as those who tried to snatch 'Sindoor' (vermilion) of India's sisters and daughters have lost their families.

While reviewing the preparations of civil security during the mock drill programme here, the CM said Operation Sindoor is a symbol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces' sympathy towards the sisters and daughters.

"The public also fully supports the valour of the army," he said.
