Wayanad, Oct. 23 -- Amid widespread protests by various political parties and the intervention by Wayanad, MP Priyanka Gandhi, the issue of the alleged pathetic conditions of the school building at a Ashram school at Thirunelli, which houses 127 tribal girl students, has drawn state-wide attention. The students were reportedly forced to stay in just three classrooms with only one functional bathroom.
Following mounting pressure, the school authorities today temporarily relocated 36 students studying in 5,6 and 7 th class to the nearby Model Residential School (MRS) Kaniyambetta.
