Chennai, Feb. 24 -- It's all over in 46 days in 2017 for V K Sasikala in her first political stint that started in the aftermath of the death of her close-aide J Jayalalithaa.
The rise and fall of Chief Minister wannabe and then Interim AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala, affectionately called a "Chinnamma" lasted exactly 46 days, to be precise, before the Supreme Court shattered her dream of rising to the seat of power (CM) by restoring the trial court order convicting her in the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.
It seemed that 2017 has not dawned well as expected by her.
