Hyderabad, March 13 -- The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (T GSRTC) trade unions on Friday issued a strike notice, warning of an agitation if their long-pending demands are not addressed.
Leaders of the TGSRTC Joint Action Committee (JAC) submitted the notice to senior RTC officials at Bus Bhavan and later to the office of the Labour Commissioner.
JAC leaders stated that a final decision on the date of the strike would be taken after 14 days, making it clear that a strike would be inevitable if the government failed to resolve their issues.
Among the key demands raised by the unions are the immediate merger of TGSRTC employees into government service and implementation of the 2021 wage revision with a 30 per cent fitment. The...
