Chandigarh, Feb. 9 -- A high-profile terror accused, Abdul Rehman, was allegedly murdered by a fellow inmate inside the high-security Neemka Jail in Faridabad.
The incident, which reportedly took place late Sunday night, came to light on Monday morning when prison authorities discovered the body.
The suspect has been identified as Arun Chaudhary, an inmate who was recently shifted to the facility from Jammu and Kashmir.
According to prison sources, Rehman was attacked with a sharp, improvised object while lodged in an ultra-high-security cell, a specialized unit where Chaudhary was also being held. Jail officials and local police reached the spot immediately after the discovery.
