Hyderabad/Medaram, Feb. 1 -- To strengthen public safety and ensure prompt emergency response during the Medaram Jatara, the largest tribal festival in Asia, a temporary DIAL-112 Emergency Response Call Centre was successfully operated at the Jatara camp.

According to an official statement here on Sunday, the temporary call centre functioned from January 18 to January 31 for 14 days and was equipped with two dispatch desks. It operated round-the-clock in four shifts, ensuring uninterrupted emergency services. All emergency calls related to the Medaram Jatara were routed to this dedicated facility for quicker handling and focused coordination.
