Hyderabad, March 27 -- Sri Rama Navami, marking the birth of Lord Rama, was celebrated with great religious fervour at the historic 17th-century Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, on Friday.
On the auspicious occasion, the celestial wedding (Sitarama Kalyanam) was performed, symbolising the divine union of Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Sita.
The celebrations began early in the morning with rituals such as Thiruvaradhana, Mangala Sasanam, and Abhishekam in the main temple.
