Hyderabad, Jan. 29 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged illegal phone-tapping operations during the previous BRS regime has summoned BRS supremo and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for questioning at 3 PM on Friday.

This is the first time KCR has been summoned in the case, after the SIT earlier questioned his son and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and his two nephews-former minister T. Harish Rao and former Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar-who reportedly appeared before the investigation team a few days ago and were grilled for nearly seven hours.
