Hyderabad, April 28 -- union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy has urged Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to take immediate steps for widening approach roads and allocating land for infrastructure development at Charlapally and Secunderabad railway stations.

In a letter, the union minister highlighted that increasing passenger traffic in Hyderabad has put pressure on major railway stations, necessitating improved connectivity.

He noted that the newly developed Charlapally terminal, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2025, is witnessing growing passenger movement with several trains operating daily.
