Hyderabad, Jan. 11 -- The IAS Officers' Association on Saturday strongly condemned a recent broadcast by a Telugu news channel for, what it termed as, carrying "false, malicious and unverified allegations" against serving women IAS officers.
In a statement, the Association said the programme attempted to malign women officers by making baseless insinuations and questioning the legitimacy of their official postings.
It rejected references to alleged "family discomfort", phone calls and WhatsApp chats, describing them as fabricated, defamatory and unsupported by facts.
