Hyderabad, April 25 -- In a significant development, the long-pending issue of Governor's quota MLC nominations in Telangana has been resolved, with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla approving the candidatures of Mohammed Azharuddin and M. Kodandaram.

According to official sources, the Governor has signed the file about their nominations, and a Gazette notification is expected to be issued shortly. The matter had remained unresolved for nearly three years, leading to prolonged political uncertainty.
