Hyderabad, March 15 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will release the first instalment of Rythu Bharosa funds on March 22 from Narmetta in Siddipet district, providing financial support to farmers across the state.

The Chief Minister recently held a review meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao and senior officials to discuss the modalities for the release of the funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

In the first installment, the government will transfer Rs 3,590 crore directly into the bank accounts of about 70 lakh farmers, covering landholdings of up to one acre.
