Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- Telangana Tourism department on Friday organised a high-level roundtable bringing together senior officials from the State government and key industry stakeholders to deliberate on the formation of the proposed Telangana State Medical Tourism Society (TGMTS) and the development of an integrated Medical Value Tourism (MVT) hub in Hyderabad.
The first session focused on industry expectations from TGMTS as the nodal body for coordinated medical tourism in Telangana. Participants discussed the Society's proposed role in stakeholder alignment, policy facilitation, governance, ethical self-regulation and long-term sectoral coordination.
