Hyderabad, July 11 -- In a significant move to strengthen the revenue system and enhance public services related to land records, the Telangana government has announced the appointment of one Grama Panchayat Officer (GPO) for each revenue village and 4-6 licensed surveyors per mandal, depending on land area.
This initiative is being taken as per the instructions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, said Revenue, Housing, Information and Civil Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy during a review meeting with revenue officials on Friday.
To facilitate this, a final eligibility test for trained licensed surveyors will be conducted on July 27, followed by lab practicals on July 28 and 29, under the supervision of JNTU. The results are e...
