Hyderabad/ New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- To raise public awareness on the alarming rise in air pollution in the national capital, Telangana MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna on Tuesday created a stir as he arrived at the Sansad Bhavan, Parliament House, riding an electric bike designed and built by himself. Through this symbolic act, the Congress leader sent out a strong message on the need to adopt eco-friendly modes of transport.
Stating that vehicular emissions are a major contributor to Delhi's air pollution, the Peddapali MP said that the use of electric vehicles can significantly reduce carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
