Mulugu (Telangana), May 18 -- In a landmark initiative aimed at empowering women through self-employment, Telangana's Women Development and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) inaugurated a free sewing machine training programme in Jaggannapeta village, Mulugu district, on Sunday.
The initiative, a first-of-its-kind in the state, is organised by the NGO Data Pro in collaboration with the Women's Development and Child Welfare Department.
Speaking at the event, Minister Seethakka emphasised the government's commitment to making women economically self-reliant.
