Hyderabad, July 15 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Tuesday emphasised the need for cooperative credit societies (CCS) to evolve with the changing needs of the agricultural sector and play a more comprehensive role in supporting farmers.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a state-level conference organised jointly by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and the Telangana Cooperative Union at the auditorium of Telangana Agricultural University, attended by representatives from 311 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs).
