Hyderabad, Nov. 4 -- Altogether 97 senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PwDs) exercised their right to vote from their homes for the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-polls in Telangana, an election official said on Tuesday.

District Election Officer (DEO) and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan said a total of 103 voters had earlier applied for home voting.

The DEO had earlier said that all 407 polling stations in the constituency would be set up on ground-floor or road-level premises and equipped with ramps of proper gradient to enable easy wheelchair movement. PwD electors and senior citizens will receive priority access for entry and voting.
