Hyderabad, Feb. 27 -- Telangana Jagruthi President and former MP, Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday announced that she would launch a new political party in the coming months, shortly after securing a clean chit in the Delhi excise policy case.
Addressing the media, Kavitha described the court verdict as a moral and political vindication.
Kavitha said she had always accepted electoral verdicts with humility, including her defeat in Nizamabad, and had never looked for scapegoats.
Kavitha rejected attempts to link the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's (BRS) defeat in the Assembly elections to the excise policy case, terming such claims politically motivated.
