Hyderabad, Feb. 12 -- The Employees Health Care Trust on Thursday decided to launch a new health scheme for state government employees and pensioners, with the formal announcement to be made by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister within the next fortnight.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Employees Health Care Trust held at the State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao.
The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretaries CV Anand and Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Finance Principal Secretary Sandeep Sultania, Medical and Health Principal Secretary Christina Chogthu, and representatives of various employee, teacher and retired employees' associations.
