Hyderabad, July 25 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Seethakka announced that 1,000 newly constructed Anganwadi buildings will be inaugurated on November 19, coinciding with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who pioneered Anganwadi services in India.
Chairing a review meeting at the Secretariat on Friday, Minister Seethakka directed officials to expedite construction work to meet the November 19 deadline. The meeting was held as part of a 100-day action plan aimed at improving Anganwadi services and combating malnutrition across the state.
