Hyderabad, July 3 -- In a major step toward improving early childhood care and nutrition in Telangana, the state government is preparing a comprehensive program to strengthen Anganwadi services.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka held a detailed review meeting at the State Secretariat on Thursday, directing officials to revamp infrastructure, boost nutrition, and involve women's self-help groups (SHGs) and voluntary organizations in the process.

Acting on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's instructions, the Women and Child Welfare Department is aiming to make Anganwadis more functional, inclusive, and community-driven.
