Hyderabad, Aug. 2 -- In the wake of the recent illegal surrogacy and baby selling racket busted by the Hyderabad police, the Telangana government today constituted a member Committee under the supervision of the Health and Family Welfare Commissioner, to conduct comprehensive inspections of all private IVF ( In-Vitro Fertilization) clinics and Fertility centres operating in the state.
In last month, Hyderabad police busted illegal surrogacy and baby selling racket by arresting eight people including 64-year-old prime accused Dr Athaluri Namratha alias Pachipala Namratha, the owner of Universal Srushti Fertility centres in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.
