Hyderabad, March 30 -- The Telangana Government celebrated Sri Vishwavasu Nama Ugadi with grandeur at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, MLAs Adluri Laxman, Shankaraiah, Mal Reddy Ranga Reddy, MLC Mahender Reddy, Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari, and other senior officials. Also present were Minister Konda Surekha and MP Anil Kumar Yadav.
Renowned scholar Pandit Bachampalli Santhosh Kumar Sastri recited the Panchangam (almanac) to mark the occasion.
