Hyderabad, April 29 -- Telangana Director General of Police B Shivadhar Reddy inaugurated the Basic Induction Training Programme for Delhi Prisons personnel at the State Institute of Correctional Administration (SICA), Chanchalguda, on Wednesday, marking a significant step in inter-state collaboration in correctional administration.
A total of 381 personnel from Delhi Prisons have been nominated for training in 2026 in a phased manner. The Phase-I batch, which commenced on Wednesday, comprises 62 trainees, including 61 personnel from Delhi Prisons and one warder from Telangana.
The batch includes 18 Assistant Superintendents (15 men and 3 women) and 43 matrons/women warders. A warder from Andaman & Nicobar Islands is also expected to join...
