Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- Fulfilling an electoral promise to restore the revenue system at the village level, the Telangana government will appoint 5,106 Village Administrative Officers (GPOs), State Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced here today.

The appointment letters will be handed over by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at a function scheduled at Hitex, Madhapur, on September 5 at 1600 hours.
