Hyderabad, Feb. 17 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday issued a series of directions aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure, sanitation and revenue management.
The Chief Minister reviewed the functioning of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department at the Secretariat.
During the review, the Chief Minister instructed officials to conduct a detailed study on the installation of smart poles at major junctions across the city and to explore the feasibility of constructing skywalk bridges in public-private partnership (PPP) mode at traffic-heavy locations.
He also directed that multi-level car parking facilities be developed near Necklace Road railway station to ease congestion.
