Hyderabad, Aug. 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Kamareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Nizamabad and Peddapalli districts, where heavy rains have left people stranded and caused severe hardship.
The Chief Minister, accompanied by Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy and PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, inspected the flood flow at the Sripada Yellampalli project and reviewed the situation with officials.
Speaking to the media, he said Yellampalli was a strategically located project that has stood strong for decades because it was built by experts.
