Hyderabad, April 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday called for a united and sustained struggle against the union Government, demanding an increase in parliamentary seats for southern states based on the pro-rata principle during the delimitation exercise.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, the Chief Minister alleged that the BJP-led Centre was attempting to reduce seat allocation to southern states under the pretext of population-based representation.
