Hyderabad, March 6 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was felicitated by members of the Madiga Employees Coordination Committee at a programme held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on Friday, thanking the government for granting legal backing to the categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SCs).
Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha and Adluri Laxman along with MLAs Kale Yadaiah, Vemula Veeresham and Lakshmikant Rao, attended the event. Representatives of the Madiga community honoured the Chief Minister for implementing SC categorisation.
Addressing the gathering, Revanth Reddy said the Congress government came to power in the 2023 elections with the aim of establishing people-centric governance and improving the lives of citizens.
