Hyderabad, Sept. 21 -- The Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sudharshan Reddy has issued show-cause notices to 10 Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs) in the state, warning them that their recognition could be cancelled if they fail to respond by October 10, 2025.
In a statement on Saturday (Memo No.732/Elecs.D/2025-64), Sudharshan Reddy said the notices were issued following directions from the 'Election Commission' (Letter No.56/2025/PPS-III) dated September 19. District Collectors and election officers have been instructed to serve the notices and inform the public through national and local newspapers as well as social media platforms.
