Hyderabad, March 20 -- The Telangana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, on Friday approved the state budget for the financial year 2026-27.

The Cabinet meeting was held at the Assembly Committee Hall at about 1030 hours.

The budget will be presented in the Legislative Assembly by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, who also holds the Finance portfolio, and in the Legislative Council by Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy at 1200 hours.

Before proceeding to the Assembly, the Deputy Chief Minister offered prayers to the budget documents at the Nalla Pochamma temple in Praja Bhavan.
