Hyderabad, March 2 -- The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit to Hyderabad, questioning whether the much-publicised "training camp" was aimed at political strategy or financial mobilisation.
In a statement, State BJP Chief Spokesperson and Media In-charge N.V. Subash raised doubts over the intent of the visit, asking whether Rahul Gandhi had come to review grassroots performance or to set targets for district leaders to raise funds. He referred to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's reported remark that Rs 1,000 crore could be mobilised if the Congress "first family" sought assistance.
