Khammam, July 29 -- BJP Telangana State President Ramchandra Rao began his visit to Khammam district on Tuesday with a spiritual note, offering prayers at the ancient Swayambhu Shiva Temple in Kusumanchi.
Calling the village his maternal home, Rao shared his deep personal connection with the region, recalling childhood memories and his roots in Khammam.
"This is where I grew up. Kusumanchi is my maternal uncle's village, and I am proud to begin my tour with the blessings of Lord Shiva," he said, speaking to a gathering of party workers and local supporters.
