Palamuru (Mahabubnagar Dist.), Feb. 4 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana State president N. Ramchander Rao on Wednesday accused the ruling Congress of indulging in divisive politics and spreading false propaganda against the BJP ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.

Addressing the BJP's Vijay Sankalp Sammellan here, Rao strongly condemned statements made by the Telangana PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, who alleged that the BJP was trying to polarise voters on religious lines.

Rao said such allegations were baseless and aimed at misleading the public.
