Hyderabad, Feb. 21 -- The Telangana State Backward Classes (BC) Commission on Saturday decided to conduct an inquiry into alleged violations of reservation norms in recruitments in state government electricity corporations.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the Commission office in Khairatabad under the chairmanship of BC Commission Chairman G. Niranjan. Commission members Rapolu Jayaprakash, Tirumalagiri Surender, Rangu Balalakshmi and member secretary Bala Maya Devi, IAS, attended the meeting.
During the discussions, the Commission took note of a representation submitted by the Telangana Electricity BC Employees Association alleging reservation irregularities in recruitments in power utilities, including TRANSCO, GENCO, NPDCL ...
