Hyderabad, Dec. 29 -- The winter session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, which commenced at 10.30 am on Monday, was adjourned to Thursday at 1000 hours.

The session began with the national anthem, following which Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar led the House in paying condolences to deceased former members. Tributes were paid to former minister Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, who represented Tungaturthi and Suryapet constituencies, and former Chevella MLA Konda Lakshman Reddy. The House observed a two-minute silence in their memory.
