Hyderabad, Jan. 9 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday said the state accounts for nearly 40 per cent of bulk drug production in the country and has gained global recognition in the pharmaceutical sector.

He said encouraging investments by young entrepreneurs was crucial for generating employment and sustaining economic growth.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration of the Sujen Medicare Fluids manufacturing unit at Raviryal e-City in Maheshwaram mandal of Ranga Reddy district.

Revanth Reddy said Telangana is steadily emerging as a global competitor in industry and innovation, driven by three core pillars-Cure, Pure and Rare.
