Hyderabad, June 25 -- Inspector General of Police, Multi Zone-I, S Chandrasekhar Reddy, has suspended B Satyanarayana, Inspector of Police, Yellandu Police Station, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, following serious allegations of misconduct and illegal detention.
The suspension comes in the wake of a grave complaint filed by Ram Reddy Pendli (67), who alleged that he and his family were unlawfully confined at the Yellandu Police Station on June 19, 2025. According to the complaint, Inspector Satyanarayana summoned Ram Reddy, his wife Padmaja Pendli (56), son Hareesh Reddy Pendli (37), and daughter-in-law (29) in connection with a family dispute.
