Patna, Jan. 25 -- Terming the elevation of Tejaswi Yadav to the post of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Working National President, as a clear symbol of dynastic politics, union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai alleged on Sunday that for the Lalu family, the people of Bihar do not come first, the family does.
Reacting to Tejaswi Yadav's elevation, Rai said that this development is neither new for the RJD nor for Bihar. He alleged that the Lalu family has been following the principle of "family first" in Bihar for the past three decades. Although Tejaswi Yadav has now formally been made the Working National President, Rai claimed that the party's operations and control have effectively been in his hands for several years.
