Patna, Aug. 3 -- The NDA leaders in Bihar have demanded the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take cognisance of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's two voter ID cards and file a case against him.
At a joint press conference held in Patna on Sunday, the NDA Spokespersons said that Tejashwi Yadav tried to create a sensation by claiming that his name was missing from the voter list. When the Election Commission clarified that his name was indeed in the list, he presented a new EPIC number, offering a different claim.
The NDA spokespersons stated: "Where did the two EPIC numbers come from? No person is allowed to have two voter ID cards. If someone does, it is a criminal offense. The Election Commission should take cognisance of this and file a ...
