Rio De Janeiro, April 24 -- Lucas Ferreira and Andre Silva scored second-half goals as Sao Paulo eased to a 2-0 win at Libertad in their Copa Libertadores group stage match.

Ferreira broke the deadlock just after the hour for the Brazilian club by dribbling 30 yards and slotting a composed finish into the far corner from 10 yards on Wednesday.

The hosts squandered a chance to equalize when Lorenzo Melgarejo sent his 70th-minute spot-kick crashing off the bar.

Andre Silva made the Paraguayan side pay, doubling his team's advantage with a looping header into the far corner following Nahuel Ferraresi's cross from the right wing.
