Kolkata, Nov. 28 -- A teenage student committed suicide at Sonarpur in South 24 Parganas because of widespread humiliation after someone allegedly created her obscene images using Artificial Intelligence and circulated them on social media.
The victim's family claims she took her own life because of the shame. The girl's mother expressed anger towards a young man and several neighbours.
The teenage student was supposed to appear for her secondary school examinaion next year, but never got to attempt her first major test in life.
According to local sources, the girl who was living at her uncle's house in Sonarpur, was found hanging in her room on Thursday night.
Police were informed and arrived at the scene. She was taken to the hospital...
