Shimla, Jan. 20 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has stepped up efforts to improve road safety and modernise transport services by introducing technology-driven reforms, strengthening enforcement and upgrading infrastructure, said Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today.

Addressing media persons here, he said the objective is to make road travel safer while ensuring that citizens can access transport-related services in a transparent and hassle-free manner.

He underlined the need to eliminate outdated manual systems and reduce repeated visits to transport offices by adopting digital platforms.
