New Delhi, March 11 -- The Indian Women's Kabaddi team was felicitated on Tuesday following their triumphant title defence at the 6th Asian Women's Kabaddi Championship in Tehran, with Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya announcing a cash reward of Rs 67.50 lakh for the team. Recognising their achievement, Mandaviya also revealed plans to launch a women's kabaddi league to provide more opportunities for female athletes, mirroring the men's league.
