Moradabad, March 2 -- A school teacher deployed on Booth Level Officer (BLO) duty died of a heart attack in Moradabad district of Uttar Pok, with his family alleging that work pressure contributed to his demise.

Zakir Hussain, an assistant teacher at a primary school in Nawabpura, was assigned BLO duty for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Moradabad Rural Assembly constituency. His wife, Shahana B, has written to the District Magistrate, claiming that excessive workload and pressure from senior officials caused severe stress, leading to his fatal heart attack on Saturday night while he was working on SIR-related tasks.
